God's mercies are new every morning!! I'm so thankful for that.
It usually takes me a day to gain a broader perspective on disappointments or discouragements. I wish I could magically turn on and off those thoughts and feelings - but, we're not made that way.
As much as I think that I'm really working hard at keeping my thoughts and desires in check - the real test comes when those thoughts and desires are challenged. I'm thankful for a loving and patient God, and loving and patient family and friends!! I wish we could be closer to y'all!!

Good afternoon, Babe...you are SO your mother, occasionally.... Time is an element that does give us different prespective on things... Many are praying for you and this situation...and, thankfully, He knows the end from the beginning... What comfort there is in hearing the 1st and 2nd graders praying for you and little Matthew - and Daddy, Mark, of course. An old high school friend got on your blog last night and read it all...how thoughtful. Many, many prayers, Sweetie. You ARE loved! (you are easy to love) Mom
