We had so much fun getting together!! Wish more of "us" could have been there - but this was great! We must plan to do this more often!!

Lions v Eagles

On October 9th, we got to see the Lions play the Eagles!! While we do like the Lions, we were really rooting for the Eagles that day. Unfortunately, Matthew was not happy most of the games. He was happy for a few minutes when the Eagles took the lead in the fourth quarter, then he was unhappy again at the end! :o( We did get a big "doughnut" that was good, we wanted the Eagles to win, though.

(August - the thing I'd rather forget about)

So, here I am acknowledging the fact that I broke my wrist the very first day of August!! Had surgery 8/8/16. I can choose to be very thankful - it could have been worse and it is healing well. I will choose to be thankful, even though it has been a huge inconvenience.

Here is a picture of it from late September - you can't see where the pins were sticking out for a few weeks.

Third grade!!
