Gone are the days of relatively "clean" meals. Yes, he got a bath right after this :o)

Battle of the Ravine
Every year we go to the big tailgate party before the football game between the two universities(which are, interestingly enough, right across the street from each other). Matthew wasn't too sure what to think of the band. By the end, he was kind of beebopping along to the music, though.
We didn't go to the game - too late for Matthew. We watched some of it on tv - we won!
**you can't tell it by the pictures - but there really were a lot of people there. As true Edwards's - we go early and beat the crowds ;o)

Celebration cupcakes
This is how tired I am of politics right now. Now matter who wins - these are to celebrate the end of the election! Mark is bringing them in to work tomorrow.
Funny - most of the faculty seem to be Democrats and most of the students seem to be Republican.
I'm certainly not trying to make light of the situation - I pray the God will show mercy on us as a nation - I think we need it now more than ever.

Happy Halloween, from Winnie the Pooh
We did our first, Lord willing, of many "reverse trick-or-treating" outings! I like how Mark termed it - I didn't know what to call it.
These are pictures of our first stop at our pastor's house - his wife, Brenda is so gracious, I really appreciate her. And that's her granddaughter, Maya.
But anyway, we handed out treats instead of getting them (except for Rachel - who was so persuasive :o) ). Matthew was interested at the first couple of places - after that -as expected - getting in and out of the car seat was not pleasant.
Halloween in the South is something to consider - it was probably a little warm to have that fleece outfit on - it was around 70, I'm guessing. Mark and I had fun with it, anway. I had put a few of the Nutter Butter ghosts in their treat bags from Matthew along with some microwave popcorn.
