Must be something in the air - 'cause I've just been in a baking mood! I made these yummy whoopie pies from that same Amish cookbook - just a few pages over.
Most of these are in the freezer like the Little Debbies.
There is a recipe in there for Twinkies, too...........

Oh Brother, I don't know if I can take anymore.....these look totally CHOW, too! YUM! I wonder if I have the same cook book? Is it the blue hardback one? Hadn't thought about freezing them - that would really make them moist, too, I bet. I agree...I think we all need the recipe or at least the name of the cookbook. I would also be interested in the Little Debbie recipe as well, those are my hubby's favorite.
I made these last night for a Monday Night Football get together...they were good...pretty rich. Thanks for the tip!
