Chicago 2012

Mark had a conference in Chicago and Matthew and I were excited to get to go with! This was Matthew's first trip to Chicago! Our hotel room was great! We could see the Sears Tower(or whatever it's called now) from our room. Our huge window looked over Michigan Ave.

He loved the Museum of Science and Industry. Matthew wasn't too impressed with Giordanos pizza - and, boy I paid for eating all of that cheese!

While Mark was at the conference on Saturday, Matthew and I headed up to Andersonville. We stopped and got some goodies at the Swedish Bakery, ate lunch at Svea and stopped at Erickson's Deli! Thankfully, Matthew got to see Wrigley Field before he fell asleep on the way back to the hotel. Later in the afternoon, I put him in the stroller and we walked down to Millenium Park. What he thought was even more neat was walking back up on Wabash Avenue and seeing The L roll past several times.

When Mark finished up, we walked back down to Wabash for dinner.

We came back on Sunday and Matthew is already asking when we're going back to Chicago.

Giordano's? Color me jealous! :-) Glad you had a fun trip. When you travel with a child it's like you're seeing everything for the first time too!
