Matthew has been saving all of his money for a while - allowance and money earned from toys he sold at a garage sale - so that he could purchase an electric guitar! Thanks to a sale at our local music store, he was able to purchase one today!! He is a very happy 8 1/2 year old!!
I was able to - finally - take Matthew to his first Drive-In movie!! We saw Angry Birds! He loved it! It finished at 11pm - so we opted out of the second movie. Must do this again!
No, this is not what our normal day looks like! But I LOVE that he has the freedom to do this! And, yes, he has pj bottoms on - you just can't see it in the picture :o)
