Swim lessons at the Y

Learning to swim will be a major accomplishment for Matthew! We will be thrilled when he decides to get his entire head in the water! He likes playing around with the swim equipment, as well.

Our last hurrah of the summer of 2012 was at the zoo. Great weather + not very busy = fun for all!

The Hot Wheels Track

Matthew envisioned this track today. It was pretty cool, I thought. The camera really was unable to capture the catapult working well but it was quite effective!

Boston and Cambridge 2012

As long as you're not driving, what is not to love about Boston and Cambridge??!! I was so happy that Mark had research to do at Harvard - and so thankful that he and I could get away while Matthew played with grandparents! Getting to see friends, Harvard Square, the T, the Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill, North End (Little Italy), ICA (contemporary art museum). Despite the heat and my blistered feet - it was wonderful!
