"Matthew"

So, I'm a little late in posting this. Matthew has been writing his without assistance for five or six months. Daddy took a picture in April, though.

Spring Break 2012

We had a great time in S. Indiana for Spring Break. The weather was quite warm for that time of the year. G'ma and G'pa have a great big back yard to play soccer and run around in - so that was loads of fun. Matthew had a blast riding the train at the mall!! It was a good SB! Thanks, G'ma and G'pa H - it just went too fast!

GR Children's Musem 2012

Matthew had a wonderful time at the Children's Museum! I finally figured out the perfect time to go - afternoon! All the bus loads of school children were leaving as we arrived! It was so much quieter and enjoyable. The time went so quickly - I was actually sad to leave.

Ice skating lessons

Today was Matthew's first ice skating lesson.

It went pretty much the way I thought it would. He was soooo excited beforehand. We shall see what the coming weeks bring.

Sesame Street Live 2012

We were able to go to Sesame Street Live earlier this month in Detroit. We had good seats, too. Matthew took a nap on the way there, he's still has sleepy eyes in the first photo.

As per normal Matthew fashion, he was quite the stoic for the first half, but really enjoyed it!

Marshmallow shooter!

Matthew received this from our neighbors. He loves his marshmallow shooter! It's the gift that keeps on giving!
