Like Daddy

Matthew decided this morning that he needed to read like Daddy. Of course, Matthew's reading is with a calculator instead of a book - but I'm sure that he gleaned much knowledge from it ;o)

G'ma and G'pa H visit

We had a lovely time with G'ma and G'pa H. It went too fast, of course! Matthew had a great time helping G'ma and G'pa with yard work and fixing the front steps. He also managed to find time to squish a worm like all good boys do!

A busy boy

School is out and Matthew is busy! As you can see - he is cooking, riding, painting and cutting. We are having fun!

Last day of preschool

It's quite challenging to get a good picture of Matthew these days he's usually trying to act goofy!

But, today was his last day of preschool! For being the youngest in his class - he's done well and grown - academically/socially since this past winter(per his teacher).

I had to do a training thing at the hospital this morning and I was able to get this dump truck balloon for Matthew - you would have thought it was the best gift ever - and then 20 minutes later he asked for another one ;o) kids!

Peacocks

We headed up to the zoo for the first time this year. The peacocks were in fine form - these are three different peacocks. We saw a few others doing this, as well. Isn't God's creativity amazing?!

A walk in the park

We so enjoy living close to a park! We do try to take advantage of it when the weather is nice - along with everyone else!
Yesterday was one of those rare nice days lately. Matthew loves the big sand box - we brought his "tools".
