Last day of preschool

It's quite challenging to get a good picture of Matthew these days he's usually trying to act goofy!

But, today was his last day of preschool! For being the youngest in his class - he's done well and grown - academically/socially since this past winter(per his teacher).

I had to do a training thing at the hospital this morning and I was able to get this dump truck balloon for Matthew - you would have thought it was the best gift ever - and then 20 minutes later he asked for another one ;o) kids!

Peacocks

We headed up to the zoo for the first time this year. The peacocks were in fine form - these are three different peacocks. We saw a few others doing this, as well. Isn't God's creativity amazing?!

A walk in the park

We so enjoy living close to a park! We do try to take advantage of it when the weather is nice - along with everyone else!
Yesterday was one of those rare nice days lately. Matthew loves the big sand box - we brought his "tools".

Angry cheese

Matthew still doesn't smile for pictures. Having him say "cheese" doesn't help because he just looks angry when he says it. ;o) Oh, well.........

On a side note - I am not a basketball fan - but I adore the basketball hat that he got from G'ma and G'pa E. Thanks for everything!!

"Peep!"

So, on a day that wasn't horribly windy or rainy - which isn't often here right now - Matthew "practiced" hunting for Easter eggs outside.

He also has the "snack duty" at preschool tomorrow. He helped me make cupcakes this morning. I thought they looked pretty cute! I'm hoping the kids won't have too much of a sugar buzz - I guess that means he'll be ready for a good nap after lunch then!
