Angry cheese

Matthew still doesn't smile for pictures. Having him say "cheese" doesn't help because he just looks angry when he says it. ;o) Oh, well.........

On a side note - I am not a basketball fan - but I adore the basketball hat that he got from G'ma and G'pa E. Thanks for everything!!

"Peep!"

So, on a day that wasn't horribly windy or rainy - which isn't often here right now - Matthew "practiced" hunting for Easter eggs outside.

He also has the "snack duty" at preschool tomorrow. He helped me make cupcakes this morning. I thought they looked pretty cute! I'm hoping the kids won't have too much of a sugar buzz - I guess that means he'll be ready for a good nap after lunch then!

cats and ovens

Our funny cats - Moe sitting on the steps - I guess it must have been comfortable! And, Mackey, he takes great delight in attempting to wake Matthew up during his naps. It didn't work this time - but he seemed quite pleased with himself. This is why we put the cats in the basement during his naps and only let them come up if Matthew is taking an extra long nap.

And, lastly - our new oven!!! I just had to take a picture of our last supper on the old one. I'm guessing it was around 30 years old by the looks. Our new one arrived this afternoon - I chose stainless because our relatively new fridge is silver. I think I'm not going to enjoy keeping the fingerprints off of it - but, I am very thankful for it!! It has a convection feature that should be fun to try out.

Spring Break 2011

The last day of Mark's Spring Break was really the only nice day. It was warm - and not raining - and everyone was(finally) feeling good! Matthew had fun filling up the bird feeders with G'ma and G'pa H.

He also took great delight in trying to have G'ma put all of her necklaces around his neck. They're not all there - but he thought it was pretty fun to jump up and down with them on. Such a boy!! :o)
