1-2-3 Imagine
We saw Sesame Street Live at the Fox Theater in Detroit Friday night. This is also where we saw Curious George Live in November. I'm so glad that I brought my "big" camera so that I could get some better pictures.
Matthew really enjoyed it!

Pretzels!!
An Auntie Anne Homemade Pretzel kit arrived in Matthew's Valentine's box from Grandma and Grandpa E. today.
I have had little success in my previous attempts to make stuff with yeast. I was very pleased to see and taste the yummy results! They turned out very well and I would certainly recommend them to anyone!
I made half of them into breadsticks to eat with our dinner and the other half I made into cinnamon and sugar pretzels. Matthew liked them, too!

Thank you, Aunt Sherrie, Uncle Steve and cousins
I went to Lafayette this past weekend to be a part of the wedding of one of my dearest friends. I brought home a belated birthday gift from my brother and his family. Matthew was delighted!!
Had I known that he was going to clap his hands when he saw that cookies that G'ma H. sent home, I would have had a picture of that, too!!

Lansing day
Believe it or not - Mark's semester hasn't started yet! The university has a Jan. term. This is probably the only time he won't be teaching it - which explains the long break. He starts back next Wednesday.
We decided to head to Lansing today to check out the Imagination museum. It was lots of fun!
Afterwards, we had lunch at one of the Korean restaurants. It happens to situated next to rail road tracks. Matthew was mesmerized by the passing trains.
We did a little more exploring before finishing up at the Grand Traverse Pie Company. Matthew likes the cookies there. Maybe I should try putting sprinkles on broccoli - he just may enjoy them!
