It's a date!

Even though we home school, Matthew and I don't usually get any special time on the weekends - also, Mark needed a quiet day at the house - which he rarely gets. So, Matthew and I went to the University of Michigan's Museum of Natural History and then on to Sonic! It was fun!!

April Fool's

Matthew's April Fools joke was this grilled cheese sandwich for dessert! He wasn't too pleased about it until he realized that it was pound cake and frosting. Mark's April Fool's joke was telling him we made sushi for dinner - of course, they're rice krispy treat sushi!!

Toledo

Mark had a student conference at Lourdes University in Sylvania, OH - a Toledo suburb. Matthew and I got to spend the day in Toledo! It was our first time to do so! We had a great time at the Toledo Museum of Art - especially when were watching the glass blowing demonstration!!! We also got a tip from a friend on a local favorite - Mr. Freeze!! We had a great time - despite the looks on Matthew's face ;o)

4 teeth/ 5 weeks!

I can't believe it!! He lost another tooth today! Unfortunately, his tooth fairy is behind in payments!

Ice on snow

God gave us such a beautiful landscape this week! We had sleet on top of snow - and then temperatures plummeted again - leaving us with these scenes all over the region!!

Another one bites the dust!!

I played dentist before going to work Sunday night!!! One less tooth to worry about!! What a goofy kid :o)

Here is the toothless wonder.....

So, Matthew lost his first upper front tooth at church on Sunday - on a danish. It was perfect - because he didn't even know what had happened until I saw the blood on the cheese danish. I wouldn't have noticed if it was a cherry danish!! It was safely in his stomach! Now we're waiting for the other one to go - it looks like it's hanging by a thread - but Matthew is very protective of it! ;o)
