When God gives you a foot+ of snow....

This is why......

So many times, when we do various things in our week, I think, "this is why we home school!". No, it's not perfect - he's not perfect and I am certainly not perfect, but I love, love, love that he has the time to do this!

Christmas Vacation 2014

We had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa H's for Christmas break!! We had wonderful weather = no snow storms like two years ago!! Grandma bought us all great fleece blankets that she and I put together - with a little help. This was Matthew's first year to make it to the first strike of the New Year, too!!

Matthew had a great birthday - celebrating at Grandma and Grandpa's this year!!

Green belt!!

Despite still feeling under the weather, Matthew felt well enough to go to his green belt testing. Samuel, Shiloh and Matthew did a great job. We are so proud of you, Matthew, for persevering. We know that karate is not your favorite thing, but you stuck to it and have been rewarded with a promotion! We love you!

7th year birthday party!

Matthew had a little birthday party at our house! We had such a good time and are so thankful for all of Matthew's friends!! He had a blast - from playing video games, spraying silly string, making pizza, eating an ice cream pizza, and, of course, opening presents!
